Our Busy Weekend APART!
Ben had the chance to go for a "GUYS" weekend trip to St. Anthony's Sand Dunes for some motorbiking and camping with his cousin, David and his brother, Hyrum. So I decided to go the rest of the way to Montana and see everyone! It was a great trip- Mason and I had more time to visit and go see the sites that I've missed so much! And Ben was able to fart and belch as much as he wanted... :D... Wait maybe that was me!!! HA! HA! ...Anyway it was a very fun-filled trip as you can see by the pictures. We missed each other terribly, but it was nice to let each other do "alone" things and come together at the end for a fun family trip back home. We stopped in a little town called Kooskia, ID for dinner and to let Mason run around in the cutest little park. Good times were had by all and as they say "...Absence makes the heart grow fonder!"

Our Little Man is 2!!!
I can't believe it! Maso
n turned two today- which means he's officially NOT a baby anymore! I am amazed at how much he has learned and grown this last year especially. He is talking SO much! He can count to 10, recite his colors and EVEN some shapes!!! He's just a little sponge and is ever so eager to learn something new! He is FASCINATED with anything sports related and is a natural athlete. And if there is ANY type of animal around- He is RIGHT there to check it out! I LOVE his fearless zest to try anything! ....I wish I had more of that! I'm so proud of my little man and what a great teacher that he is to me. I LOVE to hear him say "M'on Mom!" as he is inviting me to come do whatever he is doing. AND THOSE DIMPLES.... I have a tough time saying "No!" to anything! :D
We had a fun little party for him tonight! Impromptu would be the word to sum it all up! Without really any planning- it became a small riot. We invited our friends, Joe and Tara, over for dinner. And we were so happy to have Auntie Mary Ann came down to visit us on Mason's super day! I asked Joe to make some animal balloons for Mason knowing he would get a kick out of it. Little did we know that Joe had a lot more tricks up his sleeve than just balloon animals! The next thing we know, there are balloons everywhere and and you can't help but get caught up in it!... Or shall I say carried away! :D I think the pictures explain it all! Mason spent most of the night fishing for the helium "fish" on the ceiling with his balloon "hook". He actually got quite good at it! We had such a fun time and after the presents were all opened, Mason (and Ben) just collapsed in my lap totally exhausted! Tomorrow we are going to have lunch in the park with two other of Mason's little buddies and their families at the park! They all have the exact same B-day so it'll be a really FUN celebration!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LITTLE MAN!!!!!
